UNITY of St Petersburg Re-Opening Guidelines

Unity of St. Petersburg’s intention as we re-open our facility is to move in a safe and responsible manner. In conjunction with the guidelines required by our government agencies we will institute a phased approach for opening our face-to-face services. After the Community Conversation on May 25th, June 7th was selected as our first combined zoom/in person service. The in person Sunday gathering is limited to 25 units (people from same household who sit together count as 1). A reservation process is being created to control that number and minimize the chances of someone being turned away at the door. Thank you.

Protocols for Attending Gatherings
at Unity of St. Petersburg:

Please follow all CDC guidelines for public safety and social distancing.

Face masks are to be worn while in the building. Please bring yours or we will have some available at church for purchase (love offering).

Please use provided hand sanitizer as you enter and as you leave.

If you are sneezing, coughing, not feeling well, or have been exposed to anyone who has been sick, please stay home and attend our service online via ZOOM.

If you have a compromised immune system and are considered “at risk,” please stay home and attend our service online via ZOOM.

When you arrive at Unity, you are asked to maintain a six-foot distance from anyone who is not from your household. We ask that you refrain from hugs, handshakes, and holding hands.

Hospitality (food, snacks, coffee, tea, potlucks) are suspended until further notice.

Online giving is now the preferred method for extending financial support. An Offering box is located at the back of the sanctuary for those who wish to give checks, credit card slips, or cash.

The Prayer Box and prayer request forms will have hand sanitizer for your use before and after placing your request in the box.

We will not hold hands during the closing Song; rather, we will lift our hands in praise and gratitude for all of planet Earth.

Please allow and maintain a comfortable distance of six feet between yourself, staff, minister, and other congregants, as you exit the sanctuary.

Fellowship and conversation may continue in the parking lot, no Sunday hospitality at this time.

We will not be using any paper during the service: order of service, song sheets, etc.

Chairs will be placed at six-foot intervals—please, do not move them.

¬Choir, weddings, funerals, and special events in the building are suspended until further notice.

Youth Ministry is suspended until further notice.

Restrooms will be open to accommodate 1 person at a time.

A record will be kept of those in attendance for tracking purposes.

In addition to following the above guidelines other groups meeting at church:

·Must have prior permission to meet from Rev. Fred and/or the Board
·Will be required to meet in the sanctuary
·are limited to a maximum of 10 participants unless other approval is given
        ·     put chairs back to orignal poistions if moved
·will be expected to clean surfaces they touch while in the building.

The Board appreciates your continued support for this spiritual community, and we look forward to the time when we all can come together for worship and fellowship. In the meantime, we are grateful for your compliance with these guidelines, and we pray for your good health and well being."
